Pacific Agriculture and Natural Resources (former name: Journal for Hawaiian and Pacific Agriculture) publishes
peer-reviewed original research, reviews, and commentaries on all aspects of agricultural science and natural
resource management in the pacific basin. The journal exists to promote understanding of the pacific agricultural
practices and natural resource management. The journal covers a broad scope including agricultural and biological
engineering, crop protection, food and agriculture, plant science, animal science, fisheries and aquatic science,
forestry and agroforestry, agricultural and natural resource economics, conservation biology, and natural resource
management on all aspects, such as water resource management, wildlife management, soil fertility and management, etc.
PANR concentrates on primary research articles, but operates a flexible policy regarding other submissions, such as reviews,
commentaries, book reviews, letters, as well as technical notes.
